George P. Cosmatos was born on January 4, 1941 in Florence, Tuscany, Italy as Yorgo Pan Cosmatos. He was a director and writer, known for Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Cobra (1986) and Tombstone (1993). He was married to Birgitta Ljungberg. He died on April 19, 2005 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
